Indianapolis Colts have had a struggling history with their quarterback position. As they are struggling this year too, they can be criticized if they don’t opt for a potential quarterback as they did in 1994. NFL insiders said that about Steichen’s versatility and his specific mindset for developing a young quarterback scoring points with the Colts and allowing the team to take an open-minded approach to draft a quarterback. Steichen’s past success history in developing Jalen Hurts in Philadelphia Eagles played a significant factor in the Colts’ decision to hire him.
