The franchise quite recently received a glowing endorsement from 2021 PGA Championship-winning golfer Phil Mickelson. Mickelson had high praise for Chargers’ GM Tom Telesco and his eye for drafting and recruiting talented players.

Despite being hampered by COVID-19 in the final two weeks of December, the Chargers sit in the 2nd spot in the AFC West standings with an 8-7 record.

It is really solid reading for a team that was always expected to garner 9 wins before the start of this season. They are on track to reaching that number and making the AFC Playoffs as one of the final Wildcards.
