Matthew Stafford is in the news, and it’s for all the right reasons. After winning against the Seahawks, Stafford made an announcement that caused excitement among fans. The Rams quarterback is known for throwing over 300 yards without his three best players on the field. This comes as no surprise from the Super Bowl-winning quarterback.
However, the announcement he made recently came as a surprise for everyone. Stafford confirmed he was going to be in the second season of the Netflix hit show ‘Quarterbacks’.

‘Quarterbacks’, a Netflix series featuring three of the NFL quarterbacks, embarked on the first combined project of NFL and Netflix. It had a good critical reaction and garnered a large audience. Despite the successful first season, the creators of the show, including Peyton Manning, were having a hard time signing stars for the second season. The hunt didn’t last long as the Rams quarterback Matthew Stafford agreed to be one of the featured stars in the show.

The announcement came as a surprise as the Super Bowl-winning quarterback previously turned down the offer of being in the first season of the show. On her podcast ‘The Morning After’, Kelly Stafford mentioned that her husband was willing to do the show if the first season went well and he seemed pleased with the results.

It would be interesting to see the various aspects of his life since he declined the offer last year. “He didn’t do it for a few reasons. He’s private, he also didn’t want to put his teammates through it,” Kelly Stafford explained.

The season opener for the Rams against the Seahawks saw Strafford’s brilliant performance. Los Angeles had 27 first downs, 426 total yards, and 39 minutes of possession. “Its gonna be even better I think so but it’s a good start you know”, said Matthew Stafford in the post-game interview.
He further added, “There’s going to be things to clean up both in the Run game and the pass game but I’m just proud of these guys coming in here and not listening to what anybody else has to say about us and just go out there and play.” This statement comes after everybody commented on how the Rams will go down this season.
