NFL titan Aaron Rodgers is preparing for the cryptocurrency future. Meanwhile, former NFL QB Tim Tebow is careful about the role of digital currency in the NFL. The Heisman Trophy winner, and first-round NFL draft pick, explained his take on student athletes getting paid in crypto.
The QB said he is cautiously optimistic and urged the others to learn more about it as soon as possible. “Over 70 percent of NFL players go broke within three years. It’s important that we all just try to get as educated as possible… so we can adapt to the future and what is coming,” he said.

When Aaron Rodgers and Tom Brady promoted cryptocurrency
NFL great Aaron Rodgers advocated the use of cryptocurrency in the past. He attended the Bitcoin 2022 Conference, where he spoke at length about future payments. The Green Bay Packers QB partnered with Cash App in 2021, to convert A-Rod’s NFL paycheck portion to Bitcoin.
In June 2021, during the bullish days of crypto, the former Super Bowl winner, Tom Brady, and his then-wife, Gisele Bündchen, closed an equity deal with FTX.com and FTX.US. During the promotions, TB12 said it is an incredibly exciting time in the crypto world. However, a rival firm, Binance is all set to take over FTX. It would be critical as the former power couple has attached a huge part of their $600 million net worth to the FTX venture. Meanwhile, FTX shares have seen a significant, 72 percent drop in value. It is a setback to the NFL GOAT.
