It has been reported that the incident happened before 12:51 pm. The shooter went to the bathroom with a backpack and, a couple of minutes later, came out with a gun in his hand. The boy then walked down the hallway and aimed the semi-automatic at all the students, leading to the students barricading themselves inside the classrooms. Teachers covered the windows with papers and barricaded the door with tables.
While the school was in lockdown, many students ran out of the windows into the street for their lives. Many were carried out on stretchers to the ambulance. Students were taken to a nearby supermarket where they reunited with their parents. The authorities arrived at the scene, and many law enforcement officials entered the school to stop the shooter. But until then, three students were killed, and eight people were shot.
