Things are clearing up in the Aaron Rodgers situation quickly. The superstar QB has spent all his career with the Green Bay Packers but seems like he is at the end of the road. He is yet to announce his decision and it may take a while for him to do that. However, the Packers CEO has all but confirmed that Rodgers is done with Green Bay.
Rodgers has his suitors lined up for a potential trade away from Lambeau Field. But how do the Packers view this situation as a franchise?

Mark Murphy, the President and CEO of the Packers, opened up about what he thinks of the Aaron Rodgers situation. And in doing that, he all but confirmed that the four-time MVP won’t come back to don the green and gold again.

So that means it is almost confirmed that Rodgers won’t play for the Packers again. But Murphy refused to comment on what is going on behind the scenes with both parties.
“We are still in discussions. I can’t get into all the specifics,” Murphy added.

In 2011, Rodgers led the Packers to a Super Bowl victory and has been instrumental in the franchise’s dominance over the NFC North for the past decade. However, it appears that both parties are now prepared to part ways.

Aaron Rodgers and the Packers appear poised to part ways, with Rodgers eyeing a potential move to the New York Jets while the Packers have faith in Jordan Love as their starting quarterback. If this scenario plays out, trading Rodgers could net the Packers valuable draft assets for the future.

The Packers struggled throughout the 2022 season. And many have pointed out the lack of good offensive options as the reason for that. So, the franchise can use the trade to start a rebuild. And that is exactly what they may do.
