The Green Bay Packers wide receiver Davante Adams is having one blast of a season. Recording a 9-3 run with the team so far, the receiver has caught 80 passes for 1083 yards scoring five touchdowns throughout his 12 games. The Packers are also on their way to the playoffs occupying the No. 2 spot in the NFC standings.

However, Davante thinks that in the bigger picture, Minnesota Vikings have a receiver that could dominate the league in the near future. According to the receiver, the Vikings player is the one to look out for in the coming few games, as he has the potential to do wonders.

The rookie receiver that Adams was talking about is Justin Jefferson. The 22-year-old receiver in his 12 games with Minnesota has caught 78 passes for 1209 yards and seven touchdowns. Davante Adams, in his recent tweet, mentioned the youngster and said, Start paying a lot of attention to @JJettas2 if you haven’t already. If you have, pay more.

This is not the only time the Packers star has mentioned the rookie. Before their Week 11 matchup, Davante referred to the Vikings star as a threat to the Packers’ defense in purple and white.

I see a six-year vet when I watch him play,” Adams said of Jefferson. “He reminds me of, I don’t even know how to, I haven’t seen anybody come in in a while and play like the way that he’s playing right now. He really strikes me as somebody that has it figured out, whatever that means. ‘Cause I wasn’t playing that fast in my first and second year.”

“Last year, he already looked like he’d been playing for four years at that point, so he’s kind of aging like a dog right now and I mean in its purest form because he’s a dog out there and I respect what he’s doing and it’s really fun to watch. I truly hope that it doesn’t look like what’s it’s been looking like the last couple weeks against us, but it’s definitely fun to watch.”

Many others have been offered opportunities comparable to Jefferson’s, and the majority of them have fallen short of expectations. Not Jefferson, who finished the 2020 season with 88 catches for 1,400 yards and seven touchdowns and came close to winning Offensive Rookie of the Year.
