The Lions got their revenge this Sunday, slaying Aaron Rodgers and his team with a great 20-16 win. With this defeat, the Packers’ playoff aspirations were doomed, kicking them out of contention, and putting an end to the season. It was more of a personal face-off for the Detroit squad to give it back to Rodgers for the disrespect they received. Meanwhile, the die-hard Green Bay fan, Lil Wayne, also joined the conversation calling out the veteran quarterback and asking him to retire finally.

Aaron Rodgers had one of the worst campaigns this season. Despite getting back on track, they were unable to convert the position and eventually got kicked off from securing a playoff berth. Just like any other fan, the Grammy-winning rapper expressed his heartbreak online, lashing at the passer for his miscalculations.

After the game, A-Rod admitted his mistakes in the post-game press conference. He even hinted at a possible retirement but vowed to get back and wash off the embarrassment he incurred this season. “I need to get away and contemplate those things,” Rodgers said, per The Mirror.
