Kansas City Chiefs QB Patrick Mahomes must be smiling, as his 1-year-old daughter is already showing off her sports skills. It seems for the daughter of Patrick Mahomes, sports come naturally. In a recent video posted by Brittany Matthews, the one-year-old Sterling Mahomes can be seen showcasing her dunking skills.

Recently, Matthews shared a video of her baby Sterling, where she can be seen practicing her basketball game. In the adorable video posted by Patrick Mahomes‘ wife, Sterling goes up to the rim and places the ball in with ease.

Brittany Matthews, in the video, was encouraging Sterling to shoot the ball again. Well, Sterling seems to have no problem with that, and she confidently goes on to score a basket again.

After seeing his daughter dunk twice, Matthews was all cheers and tagged Patrick Mahomes while uploading a story on Instagram. NFL star QB Patrick Mahomes and Brittany Mahomes welcomed their first child Sterling Skye Mahomes on February 20, 2021.

Recently, Patrick Mahomes announced on his social media that he and his wife are expecting a second child. The 26-year-old QB had shared some pictures with his family of three. In the picture, Sterling could be seen holding a sign board saying ‘Big sister duties coming soon’.

Mahomes was asked recently asked about his preference on what his second child would be. He gives an honest answer by saying he is hoping for a baby boy this time.

 The star QB also said, “Sterling is such an athlete already. She’s so cool, she’s so calm that I just know, girl or boy, it’s going to be the wildest child ever. Hopefully, Sterling teaches her or him the good ways and we can have a nice household at the Mahomes’ household. Brittany will have her hands full for sure.”

Mahomes is already excited about the gender reveal coming up, and thinks whether boy or girl, doesn’t matter much. He will always love his kids unconditionally. Also, he is sure that Sterling is ready to play her big sister’s duties, and the newborn will learn some good ways from his or her big sister.
