The Chiefs quarterback appeared on the New Heights podcast with the Kelce brothers. While discussing a variety of topics, Patrick Mahomes revealed how a Michael Jordan habit has spread throughout his family, from the QB’s father to his one-year-old daughter, Sterling Skye Mahomes.

Patrick Mahomes mentioned, “I think my dad got it from [Michael] Jordan. He got it from Michael Jordan, and then, he did it. I guess as a kid, I mean, I’m watching my dad play professional baseball, so I’m trying to do everything he’s doing and every pitcher he did, and then I started doing that as a kid as a habit, and now it just adds up every time, and now start starting doing it, dude, and I catch Sterling doing it, I’m like, ‘It just runs in the family, I love it.’”

The Mahomes household has achieved utter greatness in the realm of sports. After Pat Mahomes Sr., Patrick Mahomes is running strong in football. His brother, Jackson, also had roots in basketball. Moreover, his wife, Brittany Mahomes, was a former professional soccer player.

Patrick Mahomes recently welcomed a baby boy into the family. The couple has a daughter named Sterling, who will have baby sister duties. The Chiefs‘ QB1 chose a unique name for the baby boy, and the story behind the name Bronze is nothing less than perfect.

As per TMZ, Mahomes mentioned he and his brother Jackson were scouting unique names for the newborn. That is when Jackson Mahomes came up with the name Bronze, which fits with Sterling.

The baby boy got a unique name, which would give him an entirely different identity in the Mahomes household.
