We need Football! We need sports! We need hope! The NFL’s unwillingness to follow the recommendations of their own medical experts will prevent that. If the NFL doesn’t do their part to keep players healthy there is no football in 2020. It’s that simple. Get it done @NFL

JJ Watt’s tweet is particularly informative with regard to issues being faced by players. There is a lot of confusion surrounding the protocol regarding player testing and other health-related concerns. There are also reports that players will be fined if they do not report for training on time. The first match of the 2020 season is scheduled to be played on the significant date of 9/11. Kansas City Chiefs will take on the Houston Texans in a classic Thursday Night Football encounter, provided things go as planned.
