Patrick Mahomes and Brittany Matthews have finally made it official. Mr. and Mrs. Mahomes had a lavish reception for the occasion. The couple tied the knot on Saturday, March 12, 2022, in Hawaii. Their wedding was beautiful, but so was the ring Mahomes gave Brittany in 2020.

Patrick Mahomes is one of the best players in the NFL. So naturally, he gets paid like one. Mahomes makes $40 million. But when the time came, he did not shy away from putting in some big bucks for his love. Mahomes and Matthews are truly the power couple of the NFL. 

The stunning engagement ring

Patrick Mahomes and Brittany Matthews have been dating for a long time. The couple met in high school and had never left each other’s side. They both attend Whitehouse High School in Texas. Mahomes was a sophomore, and Matthews was a junior. Mahomes played football while Matthews played soccer. The Chiefs star graduated school and moved on to play football at Texas Tech University. Matthews moved to Iceland for her soccer career. The couple never lost touch because soon they moved in together in Kansas.

In September 2020, the couple got engaged. Their engagement was perfect. It felt like something taken straight out of a Disney movie. Patrick decorated the room with beautiful white flowers. When Brittany entered the room, her beau dropped down to the knee and popped out the big question. He pulled out an exquisite ring. Matthews said yes, and the couple had a beautiful memory they’ll cherish forever. 

The ring was a huge emerald-cut rectangular engagement ring. According to PageSix, the diamond could be as big as 10 carats and the cost of the ring is around $350,000 to $800,000. Matthews posted pictures and stories of the day on her Instagram.

March 12, 2022, the couple tied the knot. A year after proposing to his high school sweetheart, Patrick Mahomes got married to Brittany Matthews. Close friends and family members attended the reception. Many of Mahomes’ Chiefs teammates attend his special day in Maui. The duo is inseparable and perfect together. They also have a beautiful daughter together named Sterling Sky Mahomes.

The couple posted pictures of their dream wedding on Instagram with the caption, “Mr. & Mrs. Mahomes.” The entire world sends congratulations to the newlyweds.
