During an interview with Bleacher Report, Kansas City Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes revealed his ambition for the future. He noted that he wants to continue to improve on his and the Kansas City Chiefs’ success.

In fact, he wants to do something that has rarely been done before – go undefeated for an entire season. He wants to go 20-0 next season, making history by taking advantage of the additional game added to the NFL regular season.

“The only record I have my eyes set on breaking, which would be new this year, would be going 20-0. It’s not really a record to be broken I guess you would say—19-0 is the record right now—so being able to go 20-0 and being the first one to do that, that would be awesome.”

Mahomes is clearly very ambitious about his team. Very few teams are able to go the length of the season undefeated. Even the Chiefs, who were by far the best team last season, lost one game.

Then in the post-season, they went on to lose again. The Buccaneers recorded one of the best defensive performances in Super Bowl history. The Chiefs, who were one of the greatest offensive teams in NFL history, were held to zero field goals in the Finals.

Can Patrick Mahomes and the Kansas City Chiefs go 20-0 next season? It is an extremely difficult task for them to accomplish. However, they are one of the greatest teams in NFL history.

Furthermore, Mahomes, at a very young age, has established himself as one of the best quarterbacks ever. However, he and the Chiefs will have to find something even more within themselves in order to achieve this feat.

But if anyone can do it, it is Mahomes.
