The QB’s father admired and celebrated his win and struggles to become the MVP in the league. Mahomes had an exceptional season with the Chiefs in 2020, consequently, clinching the Super Bowl title.

Moreover, reflecting on his son’s win, Mahomes’ father said, “It’s been gratifying for him to get a chance. How hard he worked in the offseason and for him to get a chance and play in this game. I’m just glad he was successful with it.”

He added saying, “It’s all part of the game. There’s gonna be highs there’s gon be lows. You know how you deal with it reveals what type of person you are.”  Consequently, the Chiefs‘ QB’s father looked emphatically proud of his what his son has accomplished.

How did Patrick Mahomes do in the 2020 NFL season and his road to becoming the MVP

After being signed six years ago by the Kansas City Chiefs, the QB has been on a roll for them. Moreover, in Super Bowl LV, Mahomes became the youngest quarterback in NFL history at 25 years and 143 days to start in two Super Bowls.

By doing this, he surpassed Seattle’s Russell Wilson, who was 26 years and 64 days old at the time of his second Super Bowl start XLIX.

Additionally, along with 38 passing touchdowns in 2020; he became the seventh player in NFL history to throw for 4,500+ passing yards and 35+ passing touchdowns multiple times in his career. To sum up, winning the Super Bowl and becoming an MVP filled Mahomes’ father’s heart with gratitude.
