Kansas City Chiefs megastar Patrick Mahomes is already back training after winning the highest title in professional football last month. It is this mental makeup that makes the 2x Super Bowl MVP stand out from the rest. Probably what convinced Adidas to invest in a line of shoes for the quarterback. And Pat recently flaunted a somewhat rare pair on his Instagram story.

It’s been almost two years since Adidas and Patrick Mahomes collaborated for his signature Mahomes 1 Impact FLX line. And the talented passer recently gave his fans a glance at a royal blue rare edition.

Fans are well aware of Pat Mahomes’ vast sneaker collection. The quarterback has invested in a separate room in his multi-million dollar Kansas City mansion, solely dedicated to his footwear collection. And he wore one from his Impact 1 collection, priced at $140, to training recently.

Pat only captioned the photo with two royal blue hearts in his Instagram story. The royal blue Adidas Mahomes Impact 1 FLX is currently unavailable on the official Adidas website. The Core Black / Cloud White / Grey Three and the Red-White produced to honor the Chiefs are the most commonly available colors.

“The recipe for success is a mix of opportunity and preparation. No one knows that better than Patrick Mahomes. His signature Adidas football training shoes reflect that motto with elements that help him excel ahead of game day,” the shoe description reads on the official Adidas website.

These last few months have been extra special for the Mahomes household. First Patrick and his wife Brittany welcomed their second child, Bronze. Then Patrick capped off the season with the Lombardi and the double MVP. The family also celebrated elder daughter Sterling Skye Mahomes’ second birthday recently. And the quarterback made it extra special.

Patrick and Adidas launched a new line of bright blue and white training sneakers in the Impact 1 line, aptly called the ‘Family Time’ series, to celebrate Sterling’s birthday.

“For Sterling Skye. My latest colorway, ‘Family Time’, drops today,” he captioned the post. “Family fuels champions. The sky blue color is in honor of Sterling,” Adidas captioned the official post on their Instagram account. Surely, the trainers are coming in quite handy as Mahomes recovers from a gruesome high ankle sprain from last season.
