The off-season golf adventures have not ceased for Kansas City Chiefs QB Patrick Mahomes. He shockingly gave NBA stars Stephen Curry and Klay Thompson an upset, defeating them at Capital One’s: The Match. And now, Mahomes, Travis Kelce, and Stephen Curry have all made their way to participate in the “Super Bowl of celebrity golf”. The American Century Champion is currently going on at Edgewood Tahoe Golf Course, with these sports stars in attendance. The charity celebrity golf event started on the 14th of July and will end on the 17th of July, with over 80 sports legends and celebrities taking part in the event.

On the first day itself, the 2X Super Bowl winner already made quite an impression on the crowd present. Patrick Mahomes and Buffalo Bills QB Josh Allen left everyone stunned with their prolific basketball skills, making a long-shot basket in just their first try. But now, it looks like Mahomes has come forward with a seven-word appreciation for his The Match rival Stephen Curry, who made a jaw-dropping swing at the ACC championship.

Fans already know Stephen Curry for his masterful golf swings apart from being a prolific three-point shooter on the basketball court. But on the other hand, it looks like Mahomes’ passion for the game of golf is growing stronger with each passing day. To defeat the crowd favorites is certainly an achievement for the Chiefs QB and his teammate Travis Kelce. But Stephen Curry recently once again established why he is looked at as the crowd favorite in golf.

Recently, the NBA star made history at the ACC championship. Curry became the first person to make a hole-in-one on the 152-yard 7th in the history of the tournament. A clip of that maestro swing is going viral on Twitter. We see Stephen Curry look on after making the shot, as the ball goes on to land into the hole in just one shot. This left the crowd stunned, as they cheered Curry loudly while he ran to celebrate the feat he just accomplished. The shot visibly impressed even Mahomes, as he shared the clip with the caption, “I wish I was as cool as @StephenCurry30.”

Prior to the much-anticipated golf showdown between the NFL and NBA stars, Stephen Curry took a shot at Mahomes on Instagram. In the post, Curry puts on an NFL game with the Chiefs which they lost. The clip shows Curry holding a golf club in his hand while smiling and laughing when Mahomes appears on the screen, looking visibly frustrated during the game. “It will be the same thing in Vegas baby”, is what the NBA star stated in the post, hinting that Mahomes and Kelce would lose against them as well. But fate had other plans, as the NFL duo came out as the underdog winners of the Match, much to the surprise of fans. And now, it looks like Stephen Curry is focusing on winning the ACC championship, which looks like a shot at redemption for the defeat he faced at the hands of Mahomes and Kelce.
