After the tackle, the Grim Reaper was limping off when he went to the sidelines. Backup QB Chad Henne took care of the rest in the first half. Mahomes eventually returned in the second half and completed the game before having his ankle densely taped.

However, there is a risk of a high ankle knee sprain that could affect the QB1 in the AFC Championship. On Sunday, the athlete would have an MRI to get a broad picture of the situation.
