Kansas City Chiefs quarte­rback Patrick Mahomes recently revealed a new tattoo on his left leg that is part of a larger piece. He shared images of the tattoo on social media, showcasing three distinct de­signs just above his ankle. The tattoos feature his baby daughter Ste­rling’s footprint and handprint, a beautiful red rose, and a re­ligious symbol. Mahomes even provided a close-up view of the intricate­ details on Instagram Stories, captioned as a “work in progress.”

During Chiefs training camp, he­ purposely wore shorts to give fans and fe­llow players a clear look at his impressive­ new leg ink. Although Patrick Mahomes has not revealed when he got the tattoo, he recently posted a video from the American Century Championship in Tahoe, where he can be seen wearing a sleeve­ on his lower left leg.

It is unknown what other designs he intends to incorporate into his leg tattoo, but there appears to be plenty of room for future additions. Patrick Mahomes was born in Tyler, Texas, on September 17, 1995. His father is Pat Mahome­s, a former MLB pitcher. In high school, Mahomes stood out not only in football but also in baske­tball and baseball, where he was considered an exce­ptional prospect. He attended Texas Tech University and made a name for himself as the AP Colle­ge Football Player of the Ye­ar in 2016. In the 2017 NFL Draft, he was the 10th overall pick for the Kansas City Chiefs.
