Randi Mahomes, the mother of Patrick Mahomes was in Texas recently where she experienced the horrors of a lifetime. Fortunately, she managed to make it home safely with her daughter Mia Randall, however, what went down in Texas at the time of the Tornado is not something anyone would wish for.

According to Mrs. Mahomes’ Twitter timeline, she was attending Mia’s softball game. Although she did not reveal exactly where the incident took place they were believed to be in Texas. And as reported by the National Weather Service the tornado in Texas was believed to be an EF-3 which injured 23 people while recording a speed of 165 mph.

The tornado was fast enough to cause severe harm if not taken proper shelter. It turned out to be a nightmare for Patrick Mahomes’ mother and sister. After safely reaching home, Mrs. Mahomes took to Twitter to share her horrifying experience.

“BLESSED to be home. Mia & i just tried taking cover from a tornado warning at a fast food place who’s lights went out but no one would let us in. My hand is bruised from beating on the door and holding to the brick & my baby girl I’ve never been so scared in my entire life,” her tweet read.

People came to her support after hearing her near-tragic story. One person concerned about her, asked about the details and the whereabouts of the fast-food place. However, it was Randi Mahomes’ nobility that she did not blame the people taking cover inside the fast-food place.

“I feel now they were taking cover themselves & prob thought the beating on door was the winds, rain or thunder. so scary I’m still shaken up. In the midst of all the crying and chaos mia asked me if we could pray,” she replied.

It was certainly a spine-chilling and frightening experience for Mrs. Mahomes and her daughter Mia. However, fortunately, they reached home safely and people are thankful for their well-being.
