Patrick Mahomes and Brittany Matthews finally decided to get married earlier this year. The couple who have been close to each other since high school got married in Hawaii.

The Kansas City Chiefs quarterback proposed to his longtime girlfriend in typical Mahomes style. Since Mahomes has the biggest contract in professional sports, spending a good chunk of money on the wedding ring wasn’t a problem for him. Mahomes proposed with a stunning emerald-cut engagement ring that is rumored to be as large as 10 carats.

Kathryn Money, the SVP of merchandizing and retail expansion at Brilliant Earth, talked about the ring and said, “Brittany’s stunning and trendy engagement ring from Patrick appears to feature an estimated 8- to 10-carat emerald-cut diamond, set on a white gold or platinum diamond-adorned double band.” According to Money, the estimated price of the ring is between $350,000-$800,000.
