Kansas City Chiefs’ top gun Patrick Mahomes can smile now. The 27 YO QB clinched an enormous feat on Sunday night. After a tight clash, the 2020 Super Bowl winners secured a playoff berth at NRG Stadium. They registered an emphatic 30-24 victory against Houston Texans. Remarkably, the visitors clinched their seventh consecutive AFC West Championship with this major win.

What made the high-octane clash more exciting? At halftime, the Texans held a 14-13 lead, and it surprised many Chiefs fans. Soon, matters went from bad to worse for Andy Reid’s men in the third quarter. A fumble by Wide Receiver JuJuSmith-Schuster gave Houston the ball at the Kansas City Chiefs‘ 49-yard line. And it led to the Texans taking a 21-16 lead. However, the game had more suspense during the riveting climax.

Suddenly, things took a side turn. In the next play, defensive end Frank Clark forced a fumble. On the play after that, RB Jerick McKinnon ran for a 26-yard TD. This set up the win for Andy Reid’s men. Meanwhile, PM 15 recorded three TDs to stage a crucial comeback to form. Notably, it came after last week’s mixed-bag performance to his own standards.
