It is a tradition for the Super Bowl champions to visit the White House with the trophy. But it would coincide with the loss of one of their pioneers during their visit. While taking the podium, Reid would break into tears as he honored and remembered football’s first lady. The humane moment was something that fans have rarely witnessed but it wouldn’t be the last.

As the Chiefs lined up for the NFL ring ceremony, Andy Reid would catch the attention of the reporters outside. When asked why he wasn’t wearing the Super Bowl ring, he’d point to his wedding ring instead. His answer would warm the hearts of the fans and the reporters present, as he pointed his wedding ring is the Super Bowl ring.

Reid may not have a dynasty to rival Bill Belichick just yet, but he has performed his magic with more than one QB. The ode by his QB will go quite some distance in cementing his name as one of the best coaches.
