This Sunday, Mahomes became a genuine believer after Justin threw the match-winning touchdown ball against him with just 32 seconds left in the clock.
A reporter asked Mahomes after the week 3 matchup, “The term, ‘I’ll see it when I believe it,’ — What did you see from Justin Herbert today?” The Chiefs’ belittled quarterback replied, “I guess I believe it. That’s all you can say.” (H/T Yahoo Sports)

“Nobody is happy with the way we played,” Mahomes said after the game. “You take a loss to a division opponent. It’s not a good thing. We haven’t done a lot of that in my time here. It’s how you respond. We have a long season ahead of us.”
Mahomes, on the other hand, finished with 260 yards passing with three touchdowns, two interceptions, and a loss of 30-24 against the Chargers which he will remember for the rest of the season.
With two straight losses, Mahomes will be looking forward to bouncing back as soon as possible before it gets too late to call it a season. His next match against the Eagles in the Lincoln Financial Field will be a decisive match as both the teams having lost their previous two games, will be desperately searching for a W.
