Sterling creates her own soccer field on a basketball court 

Brittany Mahomes keeps fans updated on what goes on in the Mahomes household. Recently, she shared a beautiful video of her daughter Sterling, where the two-year-old is showing what she can do with a ball. And from the looks of it, she is following her mother’s footsteps into the soccer world.

In the video shared through Brittany’s Instagram stories, Sterling is kicking a basketball around. She pays no heed to her mother who constantly asks her to pick up the ball and dribble. She does the dribbling, but soccer style. And she is pretty good at that. Towards the end of the video, even Brittany realizes that Sterling likes soccer over basketball. Maybe the Kansas City Current might have an opening for a dribbler.

Patrick Mahomes’ daughter to follow her mother?

Sterling is just two at the moment, but she already has a path drawn for her if she wants to take up her mother’s sport. Patrick Mahomes has already revealed last year how much she loves soccer. 

“It was really cool to see that we didn’t even really teach Sterling how to kick a soccer ball. She just kind of saw one and went up and started kicking it. So now, every time she sees one, she does that and kind of dribbles it,” the Chiefs QB said in an interview last year.

In addition to having a college scholarship already secured at her dad’s alma mater, Texas Tech, Sterling is also fortunate to have her mother, Brittany Mahomes, as her coach. Brittany brings a wealth of experience to the table, having been a professional soccer player during her college years. To top it off, the Mahomes family even owns a women’s soccer team. With all of these resources at her disposal, Sterling has everything she needs to pursue her dream of playing soccer, if that is indeed what she desires.
