The football fans are in for a treat. We are about to witness probably the greatest quarterback clash in history. But not on a football field. Four of the biggest names in the sport are going to clash in a game of golf. Tom Brady will team up with Aaron Rodgers to take on Patrick Mahomes and Josh Allen. 

Mahomes seems to have taken the competition a little more seriously than all the other quarterbacks involved. He has been playing a lot of golf this offseason. Recently he teamed up with his fellow Chiefs player Travis Kelce for a match. Both the Chiefs won the 8 AM golf invitational. Brittany Matthews sent a warning to Brady and Rodgers through Instagram.

Two of the young AFC quarterbacks will team up to face off against two of the all-time greats. The latest edition of The Match golf event will take place on June 1st. Patrick Mahomes and Josh Allen will meet Tom Brady and Aaron Rodgers on the golf court. Capital One’s The Match will take place in Las Vegas and it will kick off at 5:30 p.m. CT.

All four of the quarterbacks made the announcement on their official Twitter. But on one uses the platform like the GOAT Tom Brady. The Buccaneers quarterback made a hilarious tweet. He wrote, “We tried to make this a tag team cage match, but the lawyers said our contracts wouldn’t allow it…” Both football and golf fans are excited for the match-up. It would be interesting to see how they perform on the golf course. We know how amazing they are on the football fields, but can they do it in a different sport?

Patrick Mahomes and Brittany Matthews take a shot at Brady and Rodgers

It seems like Patrick Mahomes is giving golf more time than all the other quarterbacks. Recently he called his Kansas City Chiefs teammate to join in for a match. Mahomes and TE Travis Kelce teamed up to play in the 8 AM Invitational. The tournament also featured American singer Justin Timberlake. 

Mahomes and Kelce dominated the golf course just like how they dominated the fields. After winning the tournament, Brittany Matthews posted a story on Instagram with her man holding the trophy. She captioned it “Winner Winner [Patrick Mahomes].” Could this be the scene on June 1st when the quarterbacks collide?
