Patrick Mahomes discusses the poor performance in the AFC playoffs

Patrick Mahomes led the Chiefs in the playoffs multiple times with his miraculous performance. Despite that, he has also faced a fair share of defeats. But one of them stays intact in his memories, which won’t fade. Mahomes and the Chiefs played solid games against their opponents. But the AFC blowout to the Cincinnati Bengals in January still stings him like a bee.

Despite having an early lead in the first half, the Bengals, led by Joe Burrow, were able to mobilize for a stunning comeback of 21-3. Sadly, Mahomes had to watch as the rival team succeeded while the Chiefs sputtered. Patrick still considers the “worst playoff football” to be during “the second half of the game.”
