The fans are well aware of the allegations against Deshaun Watson. The NFL won the case against Watson and suspended him from partaking in six games without pay. This leniency towards the matter has triggered reactions from various people. Robert Kraft, the chairman, and CEO of the New England Patriots, gave a statement on this issue.

Robert Kraft said in a tweet, “The independent arbitrator coming back with only a 6-game suspension for Deshaun Watson is frankly an embarrassment for the entire league.” Many consider Kraft to be a powerhouse of the sport and owns one of the most prolific teams in the league. Therefore, a bold statement coming from him means the decision was not harsh enough.

The punishment Deshaun Watson faces is similar to the Deflategate suspension of Tom Brady

The NFLPA found Watson guilty of violating the personal conduct policy of the league. The punishment laid against the notorious quarterback is similar to what Tom Brady faced during the deflation of the game balls used in the AFC Championship Game in January 2015.

However, instead of avoiding putting the equipment in charge under the bus, the QB faced the suspension of four games. Even though he missed four games, his respect in the eyes of his fans increased to a great extent.

As the allegations prove detrimental to the league; the actions committed by Watson fall under Deflategate and Bountygate. The allegations proved to be true and Deshaun Watson, the QB for Cleveland Browns now faces the consequences. Now comes the question as to who will replace Deshaun Watson as the new quarterback of the team?
