After Jim Irsay appointed the new interim head coach to lead the Colts, questions arose if Jeff Saturday’s former teammate would like to coach a team. Especially because Saturday is an inexperienced coach, so why can’t an athlete like Peyton Manning turn to a coach?

The 46-year-old retired in 2016 after lifting the Lombardi trophy. He is infamous for his precise football knowledge, his ability to read the defense, and gives efficient in-game announcements. Despite his remarkable judgment, former Colts’ Number 18 never showed interest in coaching.

But during a New York Post interview, he did not dish out the possibility of becoming a coach. The prime reason the Sheriff does not want to take up the once-in-a-lifetime opportunity is that he thinks he is not qualified enough to take the role. Fans do not agree with the former Broncos shot-caller because he has an experience of 18 years in the leagues. His tenure resulted in five MVP awards and 17 Pro Bowls. And because the QB has expert knowledge of the sport, seeing him lead the league or even a team like Indianapolis Colts will surely be a blessing for the fans.
