PGA Tour Champion Max Homa Gets Congratulatory Message From Reigning NFL MVP Aaron Rodgers

The Green Bay Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers and pro-golfer Max Homa are good friends on and off the field. Rodgers himself being a golfer praised and congratulated the 31-year-old after he came out victorious in the second Wells Fargo Championship for the fourth PGA Tour title.
Homa is an emerging star on the PGA Tour who plunged his roots with this incredible achievement. Interestingly, this is the fourth time he is achieving this feat, and to add more colors to his celebration, Aaron Rodgers had a special tweet for the golfer.

Aaron Rodgers wishes Max Homa his victory
Homa showcased a blazing performance at Avenel Farm to move into sixth in the FedExCup standings. He finished at eight-under 272 at TPC Potomac, winning for the fourth time overall, the third time in 14 months.
“I just feel like I’m coming into my own. I’m starting to believe in myself a lot, and that’s all I can ask for,” Homa said after winning the match. His next start will be in two weeks at the PGA Championship. Reverting to the victory, his long-time NFL superstar Aaron Rodgers wished him. Taking to Twitter, he wrote, “4x Champ!!!! (with clapping emojis).”

It is not the first time, the four-time NFL MVP is extending his support for Homa. In 2020, Rodgers and Homa teamed up to play for the AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am.
Being a golf enthusiast, he also played alongside other celebrities in the American Century Championship that year. On the professional side, Homa is an incredible talent when it comes to golf. He got his first career win in 2019 at Quail Hollow. Last year, in January, he was ranked 100th according to the official world standings, but today he is 29th.

“I started to establish myself on this tour when I won this event in 2019,” Homa said. “I knew I was capable of being a regular PGA Tour player, but all of a sudden last year I get in the top 50 in the world, and you start looking around, and it’s a new crop of people, and you start thinking to myself, Am I as good as these guys?” Homa added to his speech. Well, he proved that he is much more worthy than he thinks.

The NFL quarterback who is listed as 4.6 handicapped by the Wisconsin State Golf Association will share the field along with Tom Brady, Patrick Mahomes, and Josh Allen in June. The event is scheduled to take place at the Wynn Golf Club at Wynn Las Vegas.
Reportedly, Aaron Rodgers and Tom Brady will team up to play against the young partnership of Josh Allen and Patrick Mahomes.

Last year, Rodgers had an opportunity to play against Brady in the same event in which he completely dominated the game and sealed an effortless victory. However, this time the Packers QB will team up with Brady to showcase his skills before the 2022 NFL season begins.
