Zach Wilson is arguably amongst the hottest young talents in the NFL today. The New York Jets quarterback has been silently enjoying a stellar rookie season so far. Last night, the talented rookie finally went toe to toe with the GOAT Tom Brady and it’s safe to say that there were fireworks.
While last night’s matchup got overshadowed by Antonio Brown and his antics, the duel between the two quarterbacks was simply sensational. Growing up, every aspiring quarterback looks up to Tom Brady, and seeing Zach Wilson perform brilliantly in front of his idol felt straight out of the movies.

In the last four matches, NY Jets QB hasn’t been intercepted a single time. Against the Bucs, the newbie finished 19 of 33 passes. Moreover, he also threw for 234 yards while scoring a TD. With his recent performances, it is safe to say that Zach Wilson is on fire.
Post the Bucs-Jets showdown, Brady and Wilson spoke for a few seconds appreciating each other’s performances. Seeing this, mama Wilson immediately took to Instagram to share a photo of the interaction to share how proud she was of her son. “That’s my baby playing Tom Brady,” captioned Lisa.

Later in the post-match presentation, Zach was quipped to reveal his interaction with Brady. The 22-year-old obliged and shared how they both wished each other luck and complimented each other’s performance. “He’s a great guy. Just told him, good job. Hopefully, they do well going on from here and all that, but he’s a good dude,” said Zach. Wilson then added, “He said, ‘Good game,’ and ‘head up,’ and ‘just keep working,’ and all those sort of things.”

Despite starting slow, Zach Wilson has been stupendous over the past few months.
