Tom Brady is always subject to comparison with his current competition. Similarly, in a recent tweet, DeShone Kizer compared Deshaun Watson to the GOAT. Kizer is a second-round draft from 2017. He played for the Browns for just one season. Moreover, the unheard-of QB thinks that if Watson wins the Super Bowl with the Browns; he could make a compelling case to be as good as TB12.
Although this seems a little far-fetched since the Browns have never even appeared in a Super Bowl. It is possible that the ex-QB intended to get more attention and fan reactions to his tweet than actually making a case for it.

Moreover, this is what Kizer had to say, which sparked the entire discussion around Brady vs Watson. He said, “Unfortunately TB12’s rings ruin all football GOAT discussions, but if there was ever anyone who could create a compelling argument against him it’s DW after he wins a Super Bowl [with] the Browns.“

The fans replied with critical comments and started arguing about the validity of his claim. Further, in clarification surrounding his criticism, he said that Watson would need a few more rings than just one to make a case.
Okay okay.. it would take a few rings but love seeing you guys go at it!

Can Deshaun Watson rise above his issues and take the Browns to the Super Bowl?
As the Cleveland Browns sign a new QB, Deshaun Watson, in 2022, their hopes to perform well are high. The former Texans‘ QB finalised his contract and joined the well-capable group with his star defensive lineup. Although the Browns were in a dilemma surrounding Watson’s suspension and Baker Mayfield leaving them; the situation seems to be under control now.

In addition, with a new QB and high expectations, the Browns would be hoping to top their AFC division and make a case for the Super Bowl. However, if Deshaun gets suspended for any time during the season, it could hurt them big time since the Browns do not have a ready-to-go backup QB.

With the season kicking off soon, the Browns would hope for the allegations on Watson to be cleared. Do you think he can help the Browns clinch a Super Bowl this season?
