The Internet is buzzing with pictures of the Colombian pop star with sons Milan, 10, and Sasha, 8, and the Brazilian supermodel with son Benjamin, 13, and daughter Vivian, 10, exiting Japanese restaurant Makoto, where they all had dinner together.

Much like Gisele Bundchen, Shakira has also undergone a recent heartbreak. After 12 years of togetherness, Shakira split from her longtime boyfriend and FC Barcelona legend Gerard Pique. Infidelity on Pique’s part was speculated to be the reason behind their separation and the details are not yet completely known.

Much like Brady and Bundchen, Pique and Shakira have tactfully evaded the reasons behind their separation, but that is not the only common thread, as rumormongers kept doing what they do best.

The rumors keep going

Soon after her divorce, Gisele Bundchen was linked to her jiu-jitsu instructor Joaquim Valente. Co-owner of the Valente Brothers school, Joaquim has been teaching his craft in Miami for a while, and rumors took over as Bundchen moved there. Valente was seen accompanying Bundchen and her kids on a vacation to Costa Rica, and the two seemed quite content with each other’s presence.

Similar rumors came up surrounding Shakira and her 24-year-old surf instructor. Shakira’s public separation left the Columbian singer so hurt that she captured the sentiments in the hit single, “Monotonia”. However, speculations were made that Shakira has found love again with Gorka Ezkurdia. Ezkurdia was also Shakira’s traveling partner for her trips to the beaches of Cantabria, northern Spain.

While their friendship continues going strong, Bundchen and Shakira have to constantly deal with living their lives under a microscope, but at least they have someone who is in a similar boat.
