The former Carolina Panthers QB, while appearing in the Pivot Podcast, said, “I saw myself more valuable than a Tom Brady, I saw myself more valuable than an Aaron Rodgers, than a Peyton Manning. Because I can go into their community, but they can never go to my community.”
Cam Newton compared himself to the leading quarterbacks in the league and went on to say he is more valuable than them. He further said, like many other successful athletes, he won’t forget the community where he grew up. Newton still visits his home and tries to be the same person as he was when he was young.

Channing Crowder thinks Cam Newton is not among the top 32 quarterbacks
Newton, alongside ESPN’s Ryan Clark, said, “There’s not 32 guys better than me. On my soul, on my soul, on my soul. At the end of the day, compare apples to apples, and oranges to oranges, certain situations for certain situations, and if you think I couldn’t be on somebody’s team right now, you’re a damn fool.”

Cam Newton is not particularly saying that he is a better player in the field, but certainly is a better role model. His relationship with his community makes him a special quarterback. He does not shy away from telling others where he belongs.

NFL linebacker Channing Crowder couldn’t accept the fact that he is among the 32 best quarterbacks in the game. Crowder made Newton recall his season play with the Patriots and the Panthers. He was then again signed by his former team Carolina Panthers, but he completed only 55% of passes and went 0-5 in his starts.
