The NFL Combine comes in with a multitude of positive and critical thoughts and takes for the new athletes. While many athletes prepare themselves for the draft, NFL QB prospect Malik Willis has proven himself to be very sympathetic. It would have been easy to walk by as other people did. However, Willis chose not to.

Recently, people around the NFL have been praising Willis for his good deeds. The Twitter community is in all praise for the Combine quarterback as well.

Malik Willis winning hearts

Host Rich Eisen tells guest host Ryan Leaf on his show about Malik Willis’ video which has surfaced recently. Ryan Lacey, a Sports Marketeer, spotted the athlete at Indianapolis, where he was interacting with a homeless man sitting on a crate. He then opened up his bag to hand out one of his caps to the person.

Rich Eisen spoke on his show, “Someone spotted Malik Willis across the street yesterday as they were having lunch. Malik Willis stopped on a street corner with his suitcase open, and it looked like he handed one of the hats that they have here for the prospects; like a winter hat to someone who was on the street.”

Eisen further stated, “Something that everyone is talking about today is character concerns, who has good character and who doesn’t, and so that’s another topic we’ll be discussing here today is, I guess, Malik Willis’s heart.”

Such deeds by Malik Willis make him a genuinely good person, even outside the turf.

A Promising Quarterback?

Malik Willis from Liberty Flames completed 207 passes with 2857 yards, 12 interceptions, and 27 touchdowns. He is a well-built, durable quarterback with exceptional arm power and cardiovascular endurance. He threw at the 2022 NFL Scouting Combine but did not run the 40-yard dash and the rest of the drills. However, he has enough footage showing what he can do with the ball in his hand.

With a powerful arm, superb running vision, as well as a big heart, the athlete makes it all look easy by displaying exceptional arc on his deep passes. As a well-rounded quarterback, Willis may need more time to develop, but his play characteristics should excite some franchises.

Many expect Malik Willis to be one of the first three quarterbacks taken in the 2022 draft, and this can be a big year for the athlete as well. However, he can improve his skills by being signed with a team and constructing his path towards greatness.
