Ciara Wilson wore an edgy outfit for the Academy Awards night. The rockstar shared her look in a video on her Instagram account. She wore a transparent net dress that was backless.

“Oscar Nights,” Ciara wrote in the caption of the video. The video had M.I.A’s song ‘Bad Girls’ playing in the background.

“Put some clothes on smh,” another fan said to Ciara.

“Y’all don’t be cold in these ddresses,” a fan posed their question.

“But when Rihanna did it, it was ground-breaking, but when Cici does it, it’s an issue. Be picking and choosin,” another fan questioned the naysayers.

“I’m questioning Russell’s morals,” a fan targeted Wilson for the dress.

“I take it that you left your ‘WWJD’ bracelet at home,” another fan said.

People are mostly targeting Ciara for religious reasons as her husband is a devout Christian. But is it okay for targeting someone due to religion?

Russell Wilson is a deeply religious person, and his Christian faith is the basis of his life. The former Seattle Seahawks  QB regularly shares Bible verses on his social media. Just recently, he quoted the Bible while talking about his vacation with his daughter Sienna.

Russell and Ciara Wilson also worked inside the prison to spread the gospel. The couple visited a maximum security prison in Miami, Florida called Everglades Correctional Institution to sing and pray with 300 people.

That is exactly why fans didn’t like Ciara’s dress for the Academy Awards. But the question is, is it alright to question someone for what they wear?
