At 27, Mahomes has achieved many golden records that a player can dream of in his career. Chiefs #15 QB is one among the individuals who sustained the hype this season, with Tom Brady and Aaron Rodgers failing to deliver for their teams.
When Mahomes made the world talking
In the 2019-20 playoffs, Mahomes led the Chiefs to a Super Bowl LIV triumph. Interestingly, it was their first Super Bowl appearance in 50 years. They defeated the 49ers and Mahomes won the MVP for his stunning show. The superstar became the youngest QB to clinch the award. As a result, he signed a 10-year contract extension worth $503 million with the Chiefs. It is one of the largest known contracts in sporting history.
However, the super icon is still grounded and believes his best game is yet to come. Patrick Mahomes has a childlike curiosity in his game, making him a lifelong learner. It is probably this spirit that has greeted him with greatness at such a young age!
