The NFL draft is around the corner and all the fans and franchises are gearing up for that. It is also the time of year when a lot of analysts predict the future of the prospects. Some get it right while some go horribly wrong. And fans don’t forget the wrong predictions, even after a decade.

Bryce Young is one of the prospects in the 2023 NFL. And the fans shamed an analyst’s take on him by bringing up a similar one from nine years ago.

Fans take down Bryce Young prediction

NFL Analyst Skip Bayless speaks his mind no matter what happens. And he did the same when the Chicago Bears traded their first overall pick to the Carolina Panthers. Bayless warned the Bears that they will regret not signing Bryce Young as the first overall pick in the draft.

“I’ll say it again: the Chicago Bears will ultimately regret not taking Bryce Young with the no. 1 overall pick. Justin Fields is pretty good. Bryce Young will be extremely good,” Bayless said in a tweet.

But the problem arose when the fans dug out Bayless’ tweet from nine years ago made in a similar vein. That take went south and fans suggested this one will too. Here are some fan reactions.

Bayless had made a tweet in a similar fashion nine years ago regarding QB Johnny Manziel. But he could play in the NFL for just one season before drifting to other leagues. And the fans haven’t forgotten it. But will Bryce Young be the same?

The doubts before the draft

Many fans across the NFL fandom are doubtful about Bryce Young. And all of it is regarding his size as a QB. The 5’11” Alabama alumni has proved himself in college football. But many doubt he will light up the NFL in a similar fashion.

The QB weighs just 192 pounds along with his shorter height. And fans suspect that such a frame could make him susceptible to injuries. But according to reports, the majority of NFL executives feel he will be a first-round pick. And Skip Bayless agrees with them.

Will Young prove Bayless right or his doubters will have the last laugh?
