“Relax We Have Time”- Roethlisberger in His Message to Steelers Fans
Follow Us
Ben Roethlisberger is not one to mince his words. After recording a perfect start to the season, with 11 consecutive wins, the Pittsburgh Steelers have suffered 2 back-to-back losses. First to the Washington Football Team and most recently to the Buffalo Bills.
The results overshadow the dominant run of form that the Steelers have displayed this time around, and now some fans are doubting whether the Steelers have what it takes to mount a challenge for the Super Bowl.
The Steelers franchise QB, however, is not having any of it. Roethlisberger, while talking to ESPN, rightfully said that the season is far from over.

“I want everyone out there to just take a deep breath. I know it’s kind of crazy right now. I just want everyone to take a deep breath. We’ve got time. That’s my mindset too… The season is not over,” said Roethlisberger.
“We have guaranteed ourselves a chance at the playoffs. We’re in the postseason. We have three weeks now to get it going, to turn it around, to give ourselves the best chance to reach our ultimate goal, which is winning a Super Bowl,” he added.
Clinching AFC top seed could be a challenge
The Steelers are the #2 seed in the AFC and within striking distance of the top-seeded Kansas City Chiefs. But if the Steelers are to reclaim that top seed, they’ll have to navigate their way through a tricky set of fixtures.
The side takes on the Cincinnati Bengals next, a game they should easily see-through. But the real challenge lies in their last 2 gameweeks.

Following the Bengals, the Steelers will take on the Indianapolis Colts, who have playoff ambitions of their own. Roethlisberger and his band of speedsters will go up against the free-scoring Cleveland Browns.
The Steelers, however, will be confident of mounting a charge for that top seed. After all, the last time they won the Super Bowl back in 2009, they’d finished the regular season with a 12-4 record. A record they can easily match this season.
