But during a recent appearance on the Pat McAfee Show, NFL Insider Ian Rapoport states, “They offered him a bigger deal over the first two years than what the Raiders ended up offering. He just didn’t want to be there.”

In his new deal with the Raiders, Adams will earn roughly $50 million for the first 2 years. The figure could have been potentially higher if he stayed in Wisconsin, but it appears he had his plans. The trade for Adams might have sent shockwaves inside the franchise and their championship ambitions for the 2022 NFL campaign.

The Packers QB wasn’t expecting to lose his No.1 passing outlet and had a telepathic connection with Adams. With Rodgers throwing passes last season, Adams set career highs in receptions and receiving yards while recording 123 receptions, 1553 receiving yards, and 11 TDs. The franchise was in a dire situation in the WR department but has been scouting for possible replacements.
