The downfall of the Jacksonville Jaguars

The Jacksonville Jaguars are having one of the worst seasons this year. They are at the bottom of the AFC South division with only two wins. They are on a seven-game losing streak. The last time they won a game was in Week 9.

The Jaguars parted ways with Urban Meyer after only 13 games. Meyers was not fit to coach a team at the level of the NFL. The fans and officials were not pleased with his performance at all. Firing Meyer was the best thing they could have done for the team.

Could Doug Pederson be a suitable HC for Jacksonville?

Doug Pederson had a very successful run with the Philadelphia Eagles. Before returning from football in 2004, Pederson played as a quarterback for 13 seasons. He played for NFL teams like the Green Bay Packers, Miami Dolphins, Philadelphia Eagles, and many more. He won the Super Bowl XXXL with the Packers.

In 2009 Doug Pederson came back to the Eagles. It was the start of his coaching career under Andy Reid. Doug was the offensive quality control. In 2011, he became their quarterback coach. Pederson was also the offensive coordinator of the Kansas City Chiefs for a couple of years. In 2016, Doug Pederson returned to Philadelphia again. This was his big break in his coaching career. Doug took over the Eagles as their Head coach.

Under the leadership of Doug Pederson, the Eagles won the Super Bowl LII in 2017. As a Head coach, Pederson has a regular-season record of 42–37–1. He left the Eagles in 2020.
