The Miami Dolphins were planning to reach Tom Brady with a proposal of adding him as a minority owner along with a starting job as a quarterback. However, as per Dolphins’ sources, the decision has been put on hold due to the uncertain future of Tom Brady as a player in the league.
The Dolphins and Brady rumors have persisted for long. Brady’s links of being a partial owner of the Dolphins also rose when he headed towards his 2020 free agency. The rumors have persisted because of Brady’s friendship with Bruce Beal, who is speculated to purchase the franchise from Stephen Ross in the future.
The decision is on hold as of now. However, the Dolphins could again begin the rat race to acquire Brady after he gets delisted from the Tampa Bay roster after June 2. Miami has recorded two consecutive seasons of more than .500 winning percentage but has failed to make the playoffs. The franchise believes that the incredible QB-Coach duo might help them go all the way to the top.
