NFL franchise New York Giants appear determined to change perspectives about gender in football. The Giants head coach Brian Daboll recruited former WFA player Angela Baker as a minority coaching fellow and offensive quality control coach. The former Pittsburgh Passion WR most recently served as the kickers and punters/special teams/defensive quality control coach.

Daboll’s hiring of Baker seems to be based on her playing experience as a seven-time All-American and the 2016 National Conference Offensive Player of the League. Although it is the first time she will be enjoying this responsibility, Baker knows the workings of the league. She spent time with the Cleveland Browns franchise as part of the Bill Walsh Diversity Coaching Fellowship.
