The former Dallas Cowboys head coach Jason Garrett had been calling USFL games during the spring for NBC. He can also take the role of Brees as NBC’s Notre Dame game analyst. It hasn’t been confirmed yet, but there is a high possibility of it.
What next for Drew Brees?
Drew Brees is a legend of the game. He has been a Super Bowl champion and is an icon in New Orleans. Brees had retired from the game after his exit in the playoffs during the 2020/2021 season. Like every legendary player, interest was high in him for the analyst role. NBC brought him, but they weren’t happy with his performance, and as a result, they had to let him go.
There is a high possibility that Drew Brees will take a year off following his departure from NBC. Things can also change if any organization decides to break the bank for him during the upcoming NFL season. Brees has a very large fan base, and people would always love to listen to what he has to say about the game.
