The Los Angeles Rams won their Week 16 matchup against the Minnesota Vikings. By doing so, they have now gained a lead against their regional rivals, Arizona Cardinals, for the first time this season. But it couldn’t have been possible without the extraordinary effort by Jalen Ramsey.

His exceptional display of athleticism against the Vikings’ offense contained them to just 23 points on the scoreboard. His spell was so spell-bounding that even NBA star Kevin Durant took to Twitter to praise the 27-year-old cornerback. Durant has been watching the NFL since he is missing in action because of being recently placed in the NBA’s health and safety protocols.

Kevin Durant praises Jalen Ramsey

“Jalen Ramsey has mastered this sh*t,” Durant tweeted. Ramsey was seen tackling down wide receiver KJ Osborn in a classic wrap-up and waist pull. After the game, when the CB noticed Durant’s comment, he took no time to reply. “Respect… I’m fa sho still working killa,” Ramsey said

Although Kevin Durant claims that the cornerback has certainly mastered his position and is on the path to becoming the greatest CBs of all time. But the Ramsey himself claims that respects his opinion, but he is still on the lookout to work even harder.

With the win, the Los Angeles Rams have now clinched a spot in the playoffs with a respected 11-4 record so far this season. The Rams have now become one of the most balanced teams in the league. Be it the QB, the WR or the CB, every spot is played by well-skilled players.

Ramsey through this season has recorded a total of 71 tackles with 14 pass defenses, three interceptions, one forced fumble and one fumble. And because of this, the Rams star has now been selected for his fifth-consecutive Pro Bowl in 2021. And the recognition from the Brooklyn Nets star was well deserved.
