Aaron Rodgers’ injury update
Meanwhile, the Jets faced the Bills on Monday night in what was supposed to be a pivotal game for their season. However, their hopes were dashed when Rodgers was sacked by Buffalo’s Leonard Floyd in the opening drive and injured his left ankle. He was taken to a blue medical tent for treatment and then carted to the locker room.
Coach Robert Saleh said after the game that the injury “doesn’t look good” and that an MRI would be done on Tuesday to confirm the diagnosis. The Jets lost Rodgers, who had won four MVP awards in his career, after just 24 minutes of play. It was one of the most painful nights in team history.
