Aaron Rodgers seems like a man on a mission right now. The mission to reach the playoffs. Rodgers and the Green Bay Packers beat the Miami Dolphins 26-20 and are now within hand’s reach of a wildcard berth. A-Rod faced considerable criticism and doubt after the rough start this season. And some celebrity Packers fans are now apologizing to the QB.
One of them is Pro Wrestling Hall of Famer and one of the greatest wrestlers of all time, Richard Morgan Fliehr, aka Ric Flair. The WWE icon had his doubts about No. 12. However, the Packers’ three-game winning streak in the regular season has removed all doubts from the Nature Boy’s mind.

Yes, the 2010 Super Bowl MVP had some help in the receiving department, with Romeo Doubs returning to join Allen Lazard and Christian Watson. However, the offense had very little to do in the 4th quarter with shutting down Tua Tagovailoa and his Miami Dolphins offense with Tyreek Hill. The Packers’ defense held their own as they intercepted the Dolphins’ QB thrice in the 4th quarter and interrupted three offensive drives. This ultimately allowed the Packers to take the lead with Mason Crosby scoring his field goals with a hundred percent accuracy.
Rodgers has to thank his secondary for their valiant effort on the road. Cornerbacks Jaire Alexander and Rasul Douglas each had an interception. Packers linebacker De’Vondre Campbell also got in on the action, intercepting Tua once. AJ Dillon ran for a touchdown as well. However, the Green Bay running game wasn’t at their best, having run less than 80 yards collectively with the ball.

The 7-8 Green Bay Packers can seal their playoff fates with a win next week over the NFC North winners Minnesota Vikings. It won’t be an easy task and possibly could be too soon for Ric Flair to start celebrating. However, their biggest game is their final one with divisional rivals, Detroit Lions and Aaron Rodgers has no room for error.
