Gardner-Johnson was put on IR on Tuesday along with edge rusher James Houston. According to reports, Gardener-Johnson had suffered a torn pectoral during the game.

Johnson lost his lifelong friend

Recently, MLFootball took to Twitter to report devastating news. The news was that the safety had lost his lifelong friend, who was like a brother to him. As the times are getting tougher and tougher for the player, fans are consoling him by sending their prayers and wishes.

The tweet also reported that C.J. played through the second week despite his injury. The whole time the safety had his pec torn and was in continuous pain but he still managed to play on-field. His willpower is commendable as he played the game using only one of his arms as he couldn’t use the other. The player hopes that everyone recognizes his effort. Meanwhile, he is preparing to get surgery soon.

Recently he shared with everyone that there is a chance that we might see C.J. back on the field this season. While his injury is the kind that might make him miss this whole season, Campbell holds hope.

The coach said that it’s “a very clean injury.” He also shared how he didn’t feel good about putting C.J. on IR, but that was the need of the hour, so he had to do it. As things now stand, the player will at least miss 4 games, following which we might see him again this season.
