Buccaneers Leonard Fournette was the one who caught the attention. He wished Gronk a warm birthday and said, ” I am waiting on you” on Instagram. A few hours later, he dropped a Tweet, wondering how many fans will be wearing his No 7 jersey in 2022.

“I wonder how many 7 jerseys I’m going to see in the stands this year,” he wrote. Instantly, Gronkowski made sure to hop in and wrote, “I’ll represent a 7 jersey in the stands for ya!”.

Did he just say that he’s going to cheer for the running back from the stands and not return to the field? It seems Fournette was equally surprised to hear these words. “Gronk says homie don’t make me tear up bring yo ass back,” he wrote in return. After making fans wait for so long, is Gronk ditching all his plans in the NFL?
