Fans should finally move on from the good old days of the Tom Brady-Rob Gronkowski partnership. The duo tore up the NFL in both the New England Patriots and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers colors. Both are now happily retired after achieving more than anybody could even dream of.

When Rob Gronkowski came into the NFL as the second-round pick for the Patriots in 2010, Tom Brady had already established himself as one of the best QBs of all time. The tight end came in and helped his best friend cement his GOAT status further. Together, they won four Super Bowl titles, including one for the Buccaneers. And in turn, Gronkowski became one of the most celebrated tight ends in the league, giving the fans some great moments to remember.

The tight end said goodbye to the field for the second time after the 2021 season, having initially retired for a season in 2020. Brady played one more season but struggled without his preferred outlet. He too hung up his cleats at the end of the 2022 season. Thus, the Brady-Gronkowski era came to a close.

Both Brady and Gronk are enjoying their life after the NFL. When Brady threw a retirement party in Tampa, Gronk was the first person he invited. Their partnership may have ended, but the friendship is stronger than ever. Too bad the chemistry will never grace the NFL field again.
