Rob Gronkowski retired in 2022 for the second time. He came out of his retirement to help his buddy, TB12, win a Super Bowl ring with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. But like the wind, he swiftly went back to chilling. However, many noticed that without the future HOF-er, the Tampa Bay Buccaneers are falling apart. They are 6-7 although rank first in the NFC South division.

Similarly, the 2022-2023 season has been no kinder to the Bill Belichick-led New England Patriots. They are 7-6 and not playing up to their maximum potential. Therefore, seeing Brady and Belichick’s struggle, the host asked if Gronk was the glue that held the star QB and the talented coach together.

Let’s just put it that way. I don’t even get enough credit, but I don’t even want all the credit. I like being that low-key guy and just, you know, being that glue.” Surely, this will start a discourse among fans about the impact the 5x Pro Bowler had on Tampa Tom and Belichick.
